The Template Manager manages Quick Pole project templates which you can create or point to a directory containing templates.

Do not delete the "New Default Project" as that is provided by Quick Pole as a reasonable default. If you delete it, you may need to re-install Quick Pole to get it back.

The purpose of the templates is to provide a base Quick Pole project file that will contain most of the default settings you typically need for using in different geographies or for different clients/pole owners. The simplest way to get started is to take a project you have already configured for a particular area/client/pole owner and enable it to be a template for similar projects. Take a copy of that project file and place it in a folder you can dedicate to templates. Then press the "Add" button above and browse for this new template file.

Once found, press "Select". It will then be added to the list of template you can choose from when you start a new project from "File->New".

Another way of working with templates is to point Quick Pole to a folder that has several templates in it. This could be on a server somewhere or anywhere else that your computer can access. This greatly assists with Team Collaboration and productivity.
