In this update we provide a new feature that can prove useful in certain circumstances.
We now allow other wires and other cables to be bundled with a power wire as if they were cables. You can string this power wire to tensions and then attach wires and/or cables. The wire tension setting allow you to specify if the messenger/wire was tensioned either with the cables/wires attached or without. This is the same way it works today for communication messengers.
There is also now an option to consider a power wire (or bundle) to be effectively grounded. This allows the bundle to be treated like a neutral wire. All current code requirements addressed in the NESC and CSA will treat this bundle as a neutral wire and generate messages or errors accordingly.
The specific customer requirement that brought this need to out attention was the need to attach a "Tek" type power cable to another wire used to for support. However, it also has several other possible uses.
