Today Quick Pole has upgraded the Data Manager functionality under the Tools menu to include the ability to create, edit, delete or Import Non-Linear Power Wires. Standard .wir file formats are supported which are used by other major sag-tension programs such as PLS-CADD and SAG10. Currently there over 1300 different Wires available within the Master organizational grouping (maintained by Sonideft). These wires are primarily Power wires over various types, but also include OPGW (optical Guy Wires, used to contain optical fibres as lightning protection wires) and Steel Wires used for any purpose (guying, messenger for communication cables, etc.).
