This update has been created to resolve the issue related to Quick Pole project files stored on One Drive (or the Desktop) under Windows 11 not being stored properly. It is recommended for all users, regardless of what operating system you are running Quick Pole under.
As an explanation about the previous issue, Quick Pole project files are written to multiple times before closing the file. Cloud-based file systems such as One Drive can choose to synchronize their local file copy and remote file version at anytime. On Windows 11 it appears that this synchronization begins before the file is completely written.
To solve this issue and prevent similar, Quick Pole now writes the Quick Pole project file completely to a local temporary file, then moves this file to its final location. This avoids any possible synchronization-related issues.
