For every span between poles today, you can set a Clearance Requirement category so that minimum ground clearances are tested against certain limits. While the User has the ability to choose the most appropriate category (Roadway, Pedestrian....), the limits were fixed by the standard chosen for the project (CSA/NESC).
Certain areas have requirements to go to higher minimum clearance values than required in the standards. To this end, you can now override the minimum clearance values of up to six different categories. As before, minimum ground clearance values based on the maximum sag of the span's attachments will be tested against either the defined standard minimum values, or any higher value set by the User. These values are retained in the project file for permanent storage against the project.
