An update was released today that provides the user with the ability to better define exactly where an attachment is attached to a pole. When an attachment spans between poles, You can now choose "Left 90", "Center" or "Right 90" or a specific angle value. The Left, Right and Center define the side of the pole location where the actual attachment is made. Other specific values can be chosen to locate the attachment at any point on the pole at that specified attachment height, using the same angle definitions as the main Work Plan. Specific values are expected to be used a lot less frequently than the Left, Right and Center values.
With better definition of these attachment points, Quick Pole now calculates the additional bending moments from the vertical of these attachments at these selected angles. In most cases they are small values, but the result will be an even better estimate of the pole's utilization.
