Two major enhancements were deployed over this week and last.
1.Internet Connectivity: Quick Pole does a much better job now in searching for an Internet Connection to keep Quick Pole up to date. If it fails to find one automatically, it will prompt you to enter manually your Proxy settings; plus allow you to test them. If manual settings are input, Quick Pole will remember these for the next time Quick Pole starts up and will use these.
2.Attachment Loads: You can now see the Overload Factors that will be applied to the attachment loads when they are added to the structure. There is a specific report you can request that will show exactly how this is applied. Since the Overload factors vary by type of load and the CSA/NESC code standard applicable to the structure. This is part of our commitment to expose all of the appropriate calculations so that you can have confidence in the results of Quick Pole.
