In this update a couple of additional tables were added for Initial and Final Tensions; as per a customer request. The notes on the Stringing Tension tab of the Sags & Tensions Calculator have been updated to provide additional clarity about defining the Ruling Span criteria.
You will notice that the tension values for various span lengths differ very little. This is normal. For this reason many utilities prefer to record the Ruling Span values only.
