Quick Pole supports both the English and French languages. Sonideft uses a mechanized process through Google Translate for all languages other than English. So we know up-front that there will be a few translations that are less than perfect. In those cases, please screen shot the incorrect translation with your suggestion and email it to us at support@sonideft.com. We need community support on this and really appreciate your help.

Quick Pole is designed so that other languages can be easily added by Sonideft, if there is customer need.

Quick Pole will look for the language setting of the user's computer each time it starts up, and will match it if possible. English is the default and French is available. So Quick Pole will present either an English or French user interface to the user, based on what they have told their computer to use as a default.

Sonideft is aware of some scenarios where users may be working in one default language but need to generate reports or other finished output in a different language. For this special case, we have a solution as well.

Create two short-cut icons on your Desktop for Quick Pole. Label one of them Quick Pole English and the other Quick Pole French. To create the shortcut, go to C:\Program Files\Quick Pole\bin. Right-click on the quickpole64.exe file and choose Send To->Desktop.

For the French short-cut, right-click on it to bring up its properties. Write this into the "Target" field: ""C:\Program Files\Quick Pole\bin\quickpole64.exe" -J-Duser.language=fr -J-Duser.country=CA Default".

For the English short-cut, right-click on it to bring up its properties. Write this into the "Target" field: ""C:\Program Files\Quick Pole\bin\quickpole64.exe" -J-Duser.language=en -J-Duser.country=CA Default".

If you want to change from one language to another, save your project and close Quick Pole. Then use the desired language option from the desktop shortcuts.
