Just a "heads-up" that in two weeks time a new version of Quick Pole is being released through the update process that has three(3) major changes:
1) User Interface. All Editing functions for Span Attachments (power wires, messengers, etc) are now available in a single window; as opposed to separate Dialog boxes before. Once this window is opened, it will automatically update itself when you select another pole span. You can drag this window to a different monitor or window space so that you can see other information at the same time. Full Undo/Redo ability has also been added.
2) Coordinates Editor. This was previously know as the "Bulk Location Editor Dialog". It is now available as a separate window that also has full Undo/Redo ability. This is the future home for additional data import features we will be releasing shortly.
3) Data Libraries. For maximum flexibility, Quick Pole will no longer include all possible Data Libraries with each release. Instead, you install only those libraries that you will need for your projects. You now also have the ability to more easily create your own data libraries and share with your co-workers that are specific to projects in specific regions. Different Power and Communication Utilities have been designated to distribute specific Data Libraries you have been using in the past. You will need to re-acquire these Data Libraries to install into Quick Pole based on the area of your projects. For this reason we wanted to give you a "heads-up" to make this transition easier.
