Recently there have been more improvements to the Sags and Tensions functionality for Communication Strands and cables. One of the most significant is the inclusion of three different methods of setting the sag or tension (similar to limit setting). These methods include:
1) setting the stringing tension at a certain % UTS or tension value at a specific ambient air temperature,
2) setting the final tension (value or % UTS) desired under a specific condition, or
3) setting the maximum amount of sag desired under a specific condition.
Also added is a summary report that can be easily printed or exported in several formats. This report includes additional information not shown on previous screens, such as a Stringing Table for the strand/messenger that creates the final sags and tensions provided.
