Better support for NESC Line Grades

Unread postby Sonideft » Sat Dec 14, 2013 4:59 pm

Quick Pole now better supports the NESC Line Grades by using the NESC overload (safety) and material strength factors called for in the NESC. You also have the choice of evaluating pole lines using either the Linear or Nonlinear methodologies. However, the overload and strength factors used will be the same as there is no distinction within the NESC between methodologies.

CSA Line Grades now can benefit from using the Linear specific overload factors when using the Linear methodology. Since CSA identifies different overload factors for each methodology, the appropriate set will be used.
