After re-verification of Quick Pole's Sag & Tension calculations against the results already published on our website https://sonideft.com/knowledge-topics/Quick-Pole-verification/sags-and-tensions_level-spans.php#_, we took the opportunity to improve even further the results for "Final after Creep" in Quick Pole. In some cases with wire containing aluminum, this can effect mid-span clearances under thermal conditions.
It is unlikely, but possible, that some mid-span clearance issues on project will be eliminated with this update. The tabular comparison results shown on our website have not yet been updated, but the Quick Pole project to recreate the current results is available there. Quick Pole's Sag & tension results compare even more favorably with PLS-CADD than before.
