QP Update 6.73.88 - More Span Profile Improvements
Posted: Mon Dec 14, 2020 9:14 pm
The main features included in this update are centered around the Span Profile.
1) The Ruler feature with the Span Profile or Multi-Span Profile Editor now has two options. The first displays calculated values above the assumed groundline. The second shows the calculated values as separation between the span attachments.
2) The DXF Export of the Span Profile will now popup a Dialog to confirm the exported horizontal/vertical aspect ratio you wish to have. This is irrespective of the size of the Span Profile window. When opened in AutoCad, the vertical scale and resulting measurement using a dimension tool will be true. The Horizontal scale will usually be scaled back by a factor of 2.0 for single span profiles and something larger for multi-span views. The benefit of this feature is that you can now get consistency in the size of the resulting profile when opened in AutoCad or other CAD program. When multiple profiles are included in the same drawing, consistency becomes even more important.
3) The Summary Communication Sags & tensions Report has been expanded to include "Initial" state values, plus a few additional key weather load cases.
