It was brought to our attention that the Stringing Chart wasn't working well when non-metric units were selected. This has been improved in this version.
Also noteworthy is that the recommended default stringing tension for all-aluminum wires, when not following an organization's standards via a dataset, has been limited to 10% as per IEEE recommendations. Previously the default was 15%, which is fine for dual-metal wires.
In addition, the modulus of elasticity of some wooden poles has been updated based on more recent data published by ANSI. This is an area where both CSA and ANSI were lacking clear recommendations in the past. Most changes show slight increases in modulus values and are said to include effects of preservative treatments.
